Vexed Micro Hybrid Jigs

These jigs were designed to be used with small strips of fish or squid for species such as whiting, bream, flathead, and inshore snapper.

We offer a large variety of weights between 3.5g to 130g.

These hybrid jigs are versatile in that they can be used with or without bait. They can be cast and twitched, hopped across sand flats, or dropped and jigged on bait schools and offshore reefs in water depths of up to 100m. 

Both the Vexed micro hybrid jigs and the bottom work long shank are micro versions of the original Vexed bottom meat. The main difference is that the latter features a super sharp BKK long shank hook with a durable, scented Vexed bottom worm. This presents small soft baits such as worms, squid, prawns, and mussels perfectly. 

The micro-hybrid jigs are for fishing for smaller fish species from boat or shore, while the long shank is ideal for lighter outfits and smaller inshore species. Both can be used with and without bait, jigged through structure, or slowly hopped across the bottom for species such as bream, flathead, and whiting.
