1. Full-Time Store Manager – Beckenham

📌 Location: Beckenham

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to take the lead at our Beckenham store.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who lives and breathes fishing, enjoys leading a team from the front and takes pride in running a high-performing specialty retail store.

As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store while maintaining the high standards TackleWest is known for. You’ll combine your fishing knowledge with strong leadership and retail skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive store performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the Beckenham store.

  • Coach, train and motivate the in-store team.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service backed by genuine fishing knowledge.

  • Provide expert product advice and tackle solutions to customers.

  • Drive sales and help achieve store performance targets.

  • Manage stock levels, replenishment and merchandising.

  • Maintain high standards of store presentation and housekeeping.

  • Oversee staff rosters and daily team responsibilities.

  • Manage cash handling and opening/closing procedures.

  • Ensure stock is received, processed and displayed efficiently.

  • Keep the team up to date with new products, promotions and TackleWest procedures.

  • Lead by example and help create a positive, knowledgeable and customer-focused store environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive fishing knowledge is essential.

  • Previous retail management, supervisory or team leadership experience is highly regarded.

  • Strong communication and people-management skills.

  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to lead from the front.

  • Strong customer service and sales skills.

  • Good organisational and computer skills.

  • Reliable, motivated and able to take ownership of store performance.

  • A genuine passion for fishing and the fishing industry.

2. Full-Time Retail Sales

📌 Locations: Beckenham | Myaree

Are you passionate about fishing and retail? We’re seeking enthusiastic full-time team members to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain excellent product knowledge and help drive the success of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and fishing expertise.

  • Engage with customers by sharing your product knowledge and experience.

  • Help customers select the right tackle and equipment for their fishing needs.

  • Replenish stock and maintain excellent presentation across the showroom and storeroom.

  • Keep up to date with current and new products in our range.

  • Operate registers efficiently and accurately.

  • Receive, process and pack stock and customer orders.

  • Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the store.

Extensive fishing knowledge is a must!

3. Casual Retail Sales

📌 Locations: Osborne Park | Myaree

Do you love talking fishing and helping other anglers? We're looking for casual team members who can work weekends and public holidays and help our customers get the most out of their time on the water.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and fishing expertise.

  • Engage with customers by sharing your product knowledge and experience.

  • Help customers select the right tackle and equipment.

  • Replenish stock and maintain excellent showroom and storeroom presentation.

  • Keep up to date with current and new products.

  • Operate registers efficiently and accurately.

  • Receive and pack orders.

  • Maintain high housekeeping standards.
