Shipping Terms & Conditions – Tacklewest

Domestic Shipping (Australia)

Tacklewest ships Australia-wide using Australia Post and trusted freight carriers.

  • Dispatch Times: We strive to dispatch all orders on the same day they are placed. However, please allow 1–3 business days for processing.

  • Tracking: Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking link to monitor delivery progress.

  • Free Shipping: Available on orders over $150 & up to 3kg. *Exclusions apply

  • Orders Over 3kg: Shipping options and rates are limited to parcels up to 3kg. Heavier or oversized packages may incur additional charges.

  • Rod Shipping: Rods are shipped at a flat rate (up to 2 rods per order).

  • Bulky/Overweight Items: Items classified as bulky or heavy may attract extra shipping charges.

  • Exclusions: Certain products may be excluded from standard shipping offers or promotions.

If your order exceeds the weight or size limits for flat-rate shipping, we may contact you to request an additional postage fee. You will have the option to:

  • Proceed with the additional charge, or

  • Cancel the order and receive a full refund.

Tacklewest reserves the right to cancel any order prior to shipment. If this occurs, we will notify you via email and issue a full refund.

Please note: Once your parcel leaves our premises, Tacklewest is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays during transit.


International Shipping

We offer flat-rate international shipping options to make shopping with us easier for our overseas customers:

  • Shipping Methods:

    • Standard Flat Rate

    • Priority Flat Rate

    • Courier Express

To qualify for these rates, parcels must be under 2kg and fit within a 30cm x 15cm x 15cm box.

  • Orders that exceed these dimensions or weight may require additional shipping charges. In such cases, we’ll contact you with the option to cancel or proceed with the extra cost.

  • Tacklewest reserves the right to cancel international orders before shipment. If cancelled, a full refund will be provided.

Customs & Import Duties:
International orders may be subject to local import taxes, customs duties, or other fees upon arrival in your country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer. Tacklewest is unable to estimate or reimburse these costs.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

Change of Mind

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

  • However, we do offer exchanges within 30 days of the original purchase date.

  • All change-of-mind exchanges are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Conditions for Exchange: 

All Returns MUST be approved by Tacklewest prior to sending goods back. 

  • Item must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

  • Sale items are not eligible for exchange.

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • For high-value items (over $75), we recommend using a tracked and insured service. Tacklewest is not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Faulty or Damaged Items

We will exchange items that are defective or damaged. If you need to replace an item with the same product, please contact us before sending it back.


Packing & Delivery Times

We aim to pack and ship your order as quickly as possible, typically on the same or next business day. However, please allow 1–3 business days for dispatch during busy periods or due to unexpected delays.

Due to global supply chain issues and carrier delays, we cannot guarantee delivery timeframes once your order has been dispatched.
