Airmar TM265LH XSONIC 1kW CHIRP Transom Mount Transducer
The Airmar TM265LH XSONIC is a serious offshore transom-mount CHIRP transducer for compatible Simrad and Lowrance sonar systems. Its dual low/high-frequency design gives anglers both deep-water penetration and high-frequency target detail from a single transducer.
It is an excellent choice for offshore boats that need to search broad areas at depth while still retaining the fine target separation required for reef, bait and pelagic fishing.
Key Features:
- 1kW dual-band CHIRP transducer
- Low CHIRP: 42–65kHz
- High CHIRP: 130–210kHz
- Low-frequency beamwidth approximately 25°–16°
- High-frequency beamwidth approximately 10°–6°
- Depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing
- Urethane transom-mount housing
- Stainless-steel mounting bracket
- XSONIC connection for compatible Simrad/Lowrance equipment
Frequency Guide
Low CHIRP: best when maximum depth penetration and a wider search area are the priority. Useful for deep-water bottom fishing and locating fish through a larger section of the water column.
High CHIRP: provides a narrower beam and finer target separation, making it useful for detailed reef, structure, bait and fish identification.
