POWERDRIVE DESIGN
The 25 Saltiga’s POWERDRIVE ENGINE uses an oversized G1 duralumin drive gear inside Daiwa’s rigid MONOCOQUE BODY. The larger gear and redesigned oscillation system are engineered to deliver smooth, powerful winding when the reel is under serious load.
POWERDRIVE ROTOR
The redesigned rotor increases rigidity while maintaining low start-up inertia, helping the reel feel responsive while still delivering the strength required for heavy saltwater fishing.
DRD / ATD TOUGH Drag
Heavy-duty models use Daiwa’s advanced drag systems to maintain smooth, consistent pressure through long fights. DRD models use a metal roller-based system designed to better manage heat and repeated high-drag runs.
