The Daiwa Saltist MQ is a proven saltwater spinning reel range covering everything from lighter inshore fishing through to heavy offshore work. With sizes from 2500 to 20000, it gives anglers a tough aluminium-bodied reel for estuary, reef, jigging, bait and pelagic applications.
The one-piece aluminium MONOCOQUE body allows Daiwa to use a larger Tough Digigear inside a rigid frame, while MAGSEALED protection helps defend the reel from the harsh saltwater environment. A tubular AIR BAIL improves line management and every model is fitted with an aluminium round handle knob for secure grip.

2500–3000: estuary, river and lighter inshore lure fishing.
4000–5000: snapper, barramundi, offshore soft plastics, light jigging and general reef fishing.
6000: heavier reef fishing, jigging and medium pelagics.
8000–10000: heavier jigging, bait fishing, kingfish, tuna and offshore lure casting.
14000: heavier PE applications, large pelagics and serious reef fishing.
18000–20000: maximum-capacity options for heavy offshore fishing and large pelagic species.
