The Vexed Bottom Meat is a hybrid jig-and-bait system designed to get a big bait down quickly while adding the attraction of a high-intensity glow head and assist-hook system. It is a great option for bottom fishing when you want the scent and profile of real bait with more visual attraction than a conventional sinker rig.
Fish it with fillet baits, squid or octopus and secure softer baits with bait elastic or cotton thread to help them stay in place through the drop.
