The Vexed Cast Iron was developed by Pwilly after decades of land-based fishing along the rugged west coast of Australia. Designed from the ground up for demanding shore-based anglers, it combines serious casting distance, enticing action, realistic Australian baitfish patterns and exceptional durability.
Unlike traditional lead casting metals, the Cast Iron is constructed from tough zinc, providing increased resistance to damage from rocky shorelines and aggressive, toothy predators without compromising its fishing performance.
Available in two purpose-built configurations, anglers can choose the setup that best suits their style of fishing.
Cast Spec is designed for long-distance casting and fast retrieves, featuring a rear treble hook for excellent hook-up rates when chasing fast-moving pelagic species.
Shore Jigging Spec features a front assist hook and rear single hook, making it ideal for working deeper water around rock ledges and steep drop-offs. This setup allows anglers to effectively fish the entire water column, from bottom-dwelling species through to pelagics higher in the water.
