The Daiwa 26 Tatula EX takes the renowned Tatula rod platform to the next level, delivering a premium range of technique-specific baitcast rods developed exclusively for Australian fishing conditions.
Positioned above the standard Tatula series, the Tatula EX combines lightweight construction, premium blank technology and carefully tuned actions to suit everything from finesse lure presentations through to heavy-duty barramundi, Murray cod and swimbait fishing.
At the heart of the range is Daiwa’s premium SVF Nanoplus graphite blank, providing exceptional sensitivity, rapid recovery and an outstanding power-to-weight ratio. This allows anglers to cast accurately, maintain precise control over their lure and detect subtle bites while retaining the power needed to stop hard-running fish.
Daiwa’s X45X Full Shield construction further improves blank performance by dramatically reducing unwanted twist during casting and under load. The result is improved casting accuracy, better lure control and increased lifting power when fighting fish.
Selected two-piece models incorporate V-JOINT Alpha, creating a smoother transition through the ferrule and allowing the blank to load and recover more like a one-piece rod.
The latest-generation ZERO SEAT reel seat completes the package, providing a lightweight, ergonomic and direct connection between the angler and blank for excellent comfort, balance and sensitivity.
