Purpose-built for modern squid fishing, the Emeraldas MX delivers the crisp, responsive feel required to cast egi accurately, impart sharp actions and detect even the most subtle touches throughout the retrieve. Whether fishing from the shore, rock walls, jetties or boat, the range is designed to provide excellent control and comfort throughout long sessions.
At the heart of the Emeraldas MX is Daiwa’s advanced HVF Nanoplus graphite blank, producing an excellent power-to-weight ratio while maintaining the responsiveness required for technical eging. X45 blank construction reduces unwanted twist during casting and aggressive egi manipulation, improving accuracy, responsiveness and overall lure control.
Daiwa’s V-JOINT technology creates a smoother, more flexible connection between blank sections, helping the two-piece rod bend and recover more like a one-piece blank while maintaining strength and sensitivity.
A lightweight AIR SENSOR reel seat provides a comfortable and direct connection to the blank, while the integrated carbon butt further reduces weight and improves overall balance.
