Prawns are one of the most important food sources throughout Australia’s estuaries and inshore waters, and the Daiwa Bait Junkie Prawn has been designed to closely replicate their natural movement and profile.
The clever three-segment body design creates a natural action through the water, allowing the tail to splay as the lure falls and producing a realistic gliding sink back towards the bottom.
Forward-facing legs, developed from Daiwa’s proven 295 Flick tail design, create a subtle shimmy during the retrieve to imitate the natural quivering movement of a prawn’s legs.
The Bait Junkie Prawn is particularly effective when fished with a hopping retrieve, imitating a prawn fleeing from the bottom before naturally gliding back down into the strike zone.
